Everyone, regardless of dance or gymnastics background, must start at the beginner level, as the foundation for many intermediate-advanced skills gets laid here. You will learn how to properly stretch for flexibility at the beginning of each class; work on strength training exercises to gain upper body and core muscles; unite flexibility, grace, balance and coordination; and learn basic beginner spins. Most students take the beginner Tricks class 1-2 times until they feel comfortable to proceed on to the next level.
Length: 1 hour
Duration: 8
weeks
Once the student has completed and mastered the beginner spins they may advance to the intermediate class. This class is designed to teach more challenging spins, plus inversion techniques. Skills become more complex. Most students take the intermediate class 2-3 times before progressing to the next level.
Length: 1 hour
Duration: 8
weeks
You have mastered the beginner and intermediate levels and are looking for a more challenging workout that now includes many gymnastics skills and a great amount of upper body and core strength plus flexibility and complex spinning techniques.
Length: 1 hour
Duration: 8
weeks
This class is designed to bring out the dancer in you. NO TRICKS are taught in this particular class; just sexy, sultry moves you can incorporate into your dance. Our goal is to look like a dancer on a pole, not a gymnast doing a bar routine. So come with your hair down, ready to spice things up on the pole and bring out your inner Goddess.
Length: 1 hour
Duration: 8
weeks
This is our most advanced and challenging level. You will learn the tricks of the pros that compete world wide in pole dancing competitions. Tricksters combine all skills learned to get on the pole and stay on the pole while performing a dance packed with combinations, strength holds, gymnastics and beauty.
Length: 1 hour
Duration: 8

“I came to Pole Play
for a little bit of fun and variation in my workout.
Well, I had a lot of fun and a great strengthening
workout. What I didn’t expect was the confidence
I gained in myself and the ability to further accept
myself as I am. Thank you to Pole Play. I no longer
just say, “Dance as if no one is watching,’ I
truly live the words.”
“After my first class, I went
home thinking, “Pole work kicked my
butt.” Now I’m proud of what
I’ve been able to accomplish. Pole
Play kicks ass!”
Hi Chelsea! The workshop on Friday was a lot of fun! I can't
tell you how much I’m enjoying the classes, and it doesn't even matter that
I don't know what I’m doing! I laugh and feel girly and relaxed...
and if I come out of this with a greater self-confidence it doesn't even
matter to me if I master the spins!! Although, it does matter, which
is why I’m going to persevere! Anyway, I’m happy that there
is a class out there that is just for me! It’s one of the few kinds
of gym classes that I’ve ever signed up for where I didn't feel
inferior or feel like I didn't belong! Thanks to you!
Thanks, Chelsea! Now I'm telling my friends to throw away all
their self help books and join me at Pole Play. It is the answer to gaining
real self confidence, self esteem and a sensational total fitness
workout.
Hey there Chels! I had to email you and tell you how much fun I had
last night. I was so nervous on my way to the studio and when I left I couldn't
take the smile off of my face. You are an incredibly talented instructor! I think
my mouth was hanging open when you were doing your routine. It was AWESOME!!!
I can't wait until next week.
The other thing that I wanted to say was that I'm really proud of you. You have
created a place where people can experience something outside their comfort zone
and make it a comfort. You were so kind, gentle, clear, understanding and loving
during the whole experience. Thank you for that. You are an inspiration.
