Stretching:

  • Restores function and mobility
  • Promotes relaxation and stress reduction
  • Strengthens the immune system
  • Improves flexibility which can help to resume normal activities
  • Increases muscle strength
  • Increases soft tissue and joint mobilization and range of motion
  • Increases vascularity (blood flow)
  • Decreases pain and inflammation
  • Decreases intensity, frequency and duration of chronic pain in headaches

.and flexibility comes in handy in the bedroom!

In this 1 hour class you will learn how to properly stretch from head to toe for flexibility. Chelsea will share some of her gymnastics stretching secrets while working on proper form while stretching, plus we will stretch for added flexibility using the poles, walls and a partner. This class runs once a week for 8 weeks, but you should use the knowledge learned in class to stretch every day to gain desired flexibility.

Hi Chelsea! The workshop on Friday was a lot of fun! I can't tell you how much I’m enjoying the classes, and it doesn't even matter that I don't know what I’m doing! I laugh and feel girly and relaxed... and if I come out of this with a greater self-confidence it doesn't even matter to me if I master the spins!! Although, it does matter, which is why I’m going to persevere! Anyway, I’m happy that there is a class out there that is just for me! It’s one of the few kinds of gym classes that I’ve ever signed up for where I didn't feel inferior or feel like I didn't belong! Thanks to you!
